The power of a routine that nurtures your body, feeds your soul and stimulates the mind is rooted in how you begin each day.
Starting your morning in ways that encourage all of these things creates a momentum, a springboard that takes you forward with energy, making it easier to forge habits that are more useful in creating your wellbeing.
These habits need not be huge or enormously time-consuming. From personal experience, I have found that the most effective methods are small, bite-size activities that I can string together like stepping stones to form a path through my day. With this in mind, I am inviting you to join me online for one of my regular day-starters.
The Sunday Morning Kickstarter is a gentle 30 minutes consisting of a single seated posture from Thai Yoga (very different from more familiar styles of yoga), working with the breath and a semi-guided mindfulness meditation to connect with and nourish body, mind and soul. Suitable for all abilities. Pyjamas and bed heads are very welcome and encouraged!
